• There are nearly 80 countries around the world that include Forest Stewardship Council certified forests. This means that the forests are properly taken from and replenished by manufacturers who build eco green furniture.

• In these 80 countries, there is a total of about 250 million acres of Forest Stewardship Council certified forests. Of these 250 acres, nearly a quarter of them are located in North America.

• The Forest Stewardship Council is currently actively working to protect about one dozen habitats across the world.

• In good conditions, bamboo can grow between three and four feet per day. Thanks to the fact that it is able to grow so quickly, bamboo is often used in eco green furniture because it can be replenished so quickly.

• More than $12 billion is spent each year by consumers on office furniture that was made in the United States. Only a small percentage of this is currently spent on eco green furniture.
