If you are interested in creating a bamboo fountain, there are a few steps that you need to take in order to ensure that the bamboo is prominently on display in the fountain. To create the bamboo fixture, you will need to:

• Get a bamboo pole – It is up to you how tall you want the pole to be, but typically people tend to get poles that are noticeable so more than five feet might be a good idea.

• Use a circular saw to cut off from the top and bottom two foot-long sections and then tie them together with some twine. These bamboo fragments will serve as the small platform on top of the fountain.

• Cut some more – From the remaining bamboo fountain, cut off a ½ foot section. Then, carefully saw off a diagonal section from this half-foot piece so that it becomes the spout of the bamboo fountain.

• Finish it off – To finish this fixture for the bamboo fountain, simply bore holes in the sides of the spout and string through it the twine that you have chosen to use. Tie the spout onto the bamboo pole and you are done with making the fixture for your bamboo fountain.
